About Leslie

I'm a pianist, educator & mentor with a passion for elevating life through creativity.
I hold a Master of Music from Carnegie Mellon University and a BA in Music from Duke University, and have been teaching for over two decades.
I nurtured my early love for artistic expression as a classical performer and competition-winning recitalist. Later, I dove into the rock and pop realm, where playing in bands dramatically expanded my musical insight. I've blended these experiences into a unique teaching style that encourages exploration and transformation, both for private students and corporate clients.
As a mentor and motivator, I draw from a lifetime in the creative realm as well as a decade in the business world. My career has included serving as General Manager of the University of Virginia faculty club, and helping to build a local Philadelphia music school into a regional chain, first as School Director and later as company-wide Director of Operations.
